What Joy Project

They launched the premier of the ''What Joy'' song on April 21st and I had the privilege to attend the Premier event of the What Joy Project here in Seattle.

''What Joy'' is the song that Sarah Emerson and Jon Leong wrote inspired by Psalm 146 and the children at Destiny's Orphanage in Uganda, Africa. This song launched a campaign to raise funds to build a 2-level dormitory for girls at the Destiny Orphanage.

Destiny is currently needing a dormitory for the high school girls, since right now they are sleeping in the classroom floors. Building this dormitory outside of the classrooms, will mean that each girl will have their own bed, a clothing space and a place to study.

This music video was recorded between Uganda and Seattle, featuring Destiny's Kids, that learned the song, with a goal to connect donors with the images and sounds of the children they are helping.

Sarah Emerson along with other incredibly talented folks extended their talents and creativity to help raise 40K needed to finish the building at Destiny.

Consider donating today here, bid or small, you'll always be blessed in return.
